Raagas of Columbia presents Indian Classical music

An evening of Indian Classical Music featuring

Smt. Srividhya Sairam(Chennai), an accomplished Carnatic vocalist, All India Radio graded artiste and student of Sri. A.S Murali. She is pursuing a PhD at the Oklahoma State University.

Nurani Brothers –
Shiva & Hari(Chennai) , students of Shri P.B Rangachari of the revered TN Seshagopalan Parampara, also learn “Tirumurai”, a twelve volume compendium of hymns in praise of Lord Shiva under the tutelage of
Shri H. Harihara Subramaniam. These young musicians are in the 10th grade.

Mridangam-Sri Sivananda Murthy (St.Louis), of the Palghat Raghu school
Violin-Columbia’s own, Sri Shiva Sankalp, student of Padmasri Kanyakumari
