Sri. Arup Mukherjee belongs to the Senia Maihar Gharana and is popular among
connoisseurs of traditional Hindustani music. Senia-Maihar Gharana boasts
its legacy from the school of famous Miya Tansen, from the court of Emperor
Akbar. Sri Arup Mukherjee is currently based in New Delhi, India and has been
performing as a professional Sitar player for two decades.
