At this year’s CROP 5K Run (10/17) the Hindu Temple Helping Hands fielded a team of 5 runners. The team placed 3rd out of 6 teams in the Faith Communities Fitness Challenge (FC2) rolling trophy. We narrowly missed the 2nd spot by 3 points (24 to 21!).
Meghna Srinath placed 2nd in her age group among female runners and Surendranatha Yerrapu placed 2nd in his age group among male runners.
We fielded 9 walkers at the CROP Walk (10/18). Hindu Temple Helping Hands raised $943 for the 2015 CROP Hunger Walk/5K Run ($693 in donations, $100 in HTCC sponsorship and $150 in the 5K Run registration).
