Mandir will remain open for 11 days from the Staphana on September 2nd till Visarjan on September 12th, 2019.
Ganesh Idol Making on Saturday, August 31st, 2019 from 3:00 – 5:00 pm.
Ganesh Staphana & Shiva Abhishekam on Monday, September 2nd, 2019 from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm
The Ganesh Moorti Sthapana will be performed on this actual day of Ganesh Chaturthi Puja. Please do remember to decorate (color) the clay Ganesha idols that many of you made earlier on August 31st and bring them to the temple for Sthapana puja.

Ganesh Chaturthi Puja will be celebrated at the Shanthi Mandir on September 7th. The puja will be conducted by our Priest Sharmaji
The festival marks the 14th Anniversary of Shanthi Mandir. It was on this auspicious Ganesh Chaturthi Puja on September 7th, 2005 when the doors of Mandir were opened to the community.

Ganesh Visarjan celebrations on Thursday, September 12th, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm
Flower and Prasad offerings to share are welcome. All those who made Ganesh idols earlier in the week should remember to bring their decorated idols if they would like to perform Visarjan. Those who had already brought their idols for Sthapana Puja on Ganesh Chathurthi day should join us to bid farewell to Lord Ganesha and immerse their idol while singing and dancing to the lyrics of “Morya Rey Bappa Morya Rey”.
